Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli retains the top position of India’s most-valuable celebrity list in Duff & Phelps annual Celebryi Valuation Study. Kohli grabbed first place for the fourth consecutive year and his brand value remains steady at $237.7 million in 2020 despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
The second position goes to B-town action star, Akshay Kumar with a brand value of $118.9 million. The third position has quirky fashionista, Ranveer Singh with a brand value of $102.9 million. The study is based on brand values taken from their product endorsement portfolio. Also, the celebrity’s social media presence has been taken into consideration.
The winner, Virata Kohli is the face of various brands like Audi, Vicks, Too Yumm, Manyavar and Hero. The top five celebrities are Kohli, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone.
In the name of social media presence, Ayushmann Khurrana, Tiger Shroff and Rohit Sharma grabbed No. 6, No. 15 and No. 17 spots, respectively. And, the current heartthrob Kartik Aaryan made his debut on the list with No. 20.
