Anupam Kher’s Wife Suffering From Blood Cancer

Senior actress and BJP member, Kirron Kher, is suffering from blood cancer and the unfortunate news has been shared by her husband-actor, Anupam Kher on social media. The news is indeed shocking and left the showbiz and political world sad. It is revealed that Kirron is suffering from multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer and she is undergoing treatment for quite some time in Mumbai.

Chandigarh BJP president Arun Sood said that Kirron’s cancer has “receded from her arm and shoulder.” He further said that the actress, who suffered a broken left arm at her Chandigarh house on November 11, 2020, underwent some medical tests at Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) in Chandigarh. The tests revealed that she is suffering from cancer and was diagnosed with multiple myeloma.

Arun Sood further added that she is currently recovering from her four-month treatment but she keeps visiting the hospital with regular check-ups and treatment. Anupam Kher also shared a long note which read – “Just so that rumours don’t get the better of a situation Sikandar and I would like to inform everyone that Kirron has been diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer. She is currently undergoing treatment and we are sure she will come out of this stronger than before. We are very blessed that she is being looked after by a phenomenal set of doctors. She’s always been a fighter and takes things head-on. She’s all heart and that’s why she has so many people that love her. So keep sending your love to her and in your prayers and in your heart. She is well on her way to recovery and we thank everyone for their support and love.”

Kirron Kher has been away from political activities for quite some time now. She also kept low-key on social media, making her fans speculate with various rumours. However, she was recently seen judging a reality show along with Karan Johar and Malaika Arora. She is one of the favourite judges for the audience, who is often admired for her witty remarks.
