In the unexpected incident, 11 employees of State Bank of India (SBI) from the Puranapul branch in Hyderabad was moved to a quarantine facility near Sanjeeva Reddy Nagar after a person who tested positive for Covid-19 visited the bank.
As per the sources, the person with Covid-19 had used the bathroom in the bank, which was also used by some of the staff members later. According to the WHO guidelines, restrooms in public areas should be disinfected at least three times in a day as they can the basic source for getting contracted to the novel virus.
The families of quarantined employees are left in a tensed situation and so far no one has shown any pertinent symptoms. On Monday, Telangana has reported 41 new cases taking the overall number to 1592. Out of the 41, 26 persons were from areas under GHMC, 12 persons were migrants who returned to Telangana from the other Indian States and three were from Medchal district.
