High time: SRH Should Get Kane Williamson On Board

Sunrisers Hyderabad is the only team that is being qualified to the playoffs for five years consecutively. SRH is achieving this feat since 2016. Before the start of this season, SRH looked very good on paper. However, things look different after the first two games. Poor team selection and troubled batting order are costing the team more than ever.

SRH has a top-heavy batting lineup. They need a reliable batsman in the middle order. Kane Williamson is the player they need at this hour. It can be understood that Jonny Bairstow is in great form and we cannot make him warm benches. But looking at the present situation, Williamson needs to join the team as soon as possible. Bairstow needs to be out of playing XI for a greater good.

Williamson proved to be a match-winner for SRH for a long time. Still, the team management is unable to recognize his efforts. The middle-order needs the presence of Kane and even Vijay Shankar needs to be replaced by an experienced batsman like Kedhar Jadhav. Let’s see if SRH management makes any of these changes in the upcoming match against Mumbai Indian which will be held on April 17.
