After the first eight games of IPL 2021, Sunrisers Hyderabad is the only team that is yet to open its tally on the points table. SRH played two games and lost both of them. Though this is a concerning fact, the stats from the 2016 season is cheering up SRH fans.
We are aware that SRH is the winner of the 2016 season. In that edition as well, Sunrisers lost both of its first two games, against Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore. In 2016, SRH got its first win against Mumbai Indians in the third game. From then, the team went on to qualify for the playoffs and ended up winning the title.
Fans are digging these statistics now. Coincidentally, SRH lost both of its games against RCB and KKR this year as well. They are also playing their third match against Mumbai Indians. If Sunrisers manages to win this match, fans are hoping that the journey will continue till the final. We have to see if these predictions prove to be right or wrong. SRH and MI will play against each other tonight at Chepauk Stadium in Chennai.
