Popular Gujarati actor Amit Mistry, who also acted in many popular Hindi films, has passed away this morning suffering a major cardiac arrest. The Hindi film industry was shocked by the tragic demise of Amit at such a young age. He was recently seen in the Amazon Prime Video’s web series Bandish Bandits.
Amit started off his career in the theatre. He was popular for his collaboration with noted directors Raj and DK. Amit was a part of Raj-Dk’s films Shor in the City, 99 and A Gentleman. He was also seen in other movies like Kya Kehna, Ek Chaalis Ki Last Local, and Yamla Pagla Deewana.
Celebrities like Kubbra Sait, Jacquline Fernandez, and Gulshan Devaiah paid their condolences to the grieved family. “You’ll be missed on earth @Actoramitmistry Condolences to the family,” wrote Kubbra. “This is tragic news!,” tweeted Gulshan.
