Zimbabwe Creates History By Beating Pakistan In T20

World cricket has witnessed a historic moment today. Zimbabwe registered their first-ever win over Pakistan in the Twenty20 International. Zimbabwe has made this dream come true after 15 failed attempts. In the T20 match that took place at the Harare Sports Club on Friday, the home team defended a total of 118 and restricted Pakisthan for just 99 runs.

Zimbabwe batted first and made a total of 118 runs for the loss of 9 wickets. Tinashe Kamunhukamwe scored 34 runs and ended as the only leading scorer for his side. Zimbabwe would not have imagined pulling this amazing feat since Pakisthan is in a good form by defeating South Africa for 3-1 in a fourth match series earlier this month.

Zimbabwe bowler Luke Jongwe impressed with a very good spell where he conceded 18 runs and took 4 key wickets.

Sharing the happiness on Twitter, the Zimbabwe cricket board wrote, “#2ndT20I | There you have it! The boys have done it, a win by 19 runs and level the three-match series 1-1. Zimbabwe`s first T20I win against Pakistan.”
