Kamal Haasan and Shankar’s most anticipated project Indian 2 has been facing a lot of troubles ever since it was announced. Already, the film faced multiple halts due to various issues. Once again, the shoot was halted due to the differences between Kamal, Shankar, and the producers. The film’s producers moved to the high court requesting to order Shankar to finish the project before taking up any other new film.
Responding to the issue, the Madras High Court indirectly gave up on the complaint and asked the makers and crew to sit together and settle the problem by holding discussions. Meanwhile, Shankar’s counsel told the bench that his client will start filming for his Telugu film from May 2022. In the meantime, he will finish Indian 2 in five months starting the shoot from June this year.
He also said that the scenes of actor Vivekh will be reshot as he passed away recently. Indian 2 features Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet, and Siddharth in the other important roles. On the flip side, Shankar announced two new films, one with Ram Charan and one with Ranveer Singh. As per his counsel, he will work on these projects only after wrapping up Indian 2.
