Covid Wedding: Bride wears PPE as fiance is covid-infected

The pandemic has made us do things that are unprecedented and unheard of. People have started practical ways to adapt to the ‘new normal’ by realizing every single aspect of life which is lost such as money or fame can be reclaimed except ‘time’. As the world is stalled at the moment, here comes a couple who decided to not waste their precious time even in a grim situation.

Brides are often seen in their beautiful traditional bridal wears. But, the young bride, Abhirami is seen in her PPE kit in her wedding photo and the image garnered huge attention global wide. As two families did not want to miss the auspicious ‘muhurat’ that they have scheduled earlier, have decided to go with the wedding without much delay. Therefore, the families took permission from the district collector and hospital authorities and went ahead with the wedding rituals. 

Abhirami is seen getting married in PPE suit because her fiance is now covid-infected. Yet the wedding has been done as planned. The couple got hitched in a hospital ward amid the huge spike in cases across the nation. The groom was admitted to a government hospital in the Alappuzha district and due to fixed Mururat, he and his fiancé tied the knot with their PPEs at a COVID ward.

The couple were also seen in a simple tulsi garland instead of pretty flowers garland and the couple were surrounded by close relatives clad in PPEs as well. The groom, Sarathmon, works in the Gulf and he along with his mother Jijimol had been admitted to the hospital recently after they tested positive for the virus.
