Watch: Burj Khalifa Lights Up #StayStrongIndia

As India is facing a horrific and devastating situation with a mindboggling number of covid cases, many countries have stepped forward to show solidarity for the country. Yesterday, United Arab Emirates’s Burj Khalifa illuminated with the Tricolour in solidarity with India’s worst-affected pandemic state of affairs.

Burj Khalifa in Dubai is the world’s tallest building and they have been lit up with the Indian flag along with a text “Stay Strong India” on Sunday night. “As India battles the gruesome war against COVID19, its friend UAE sends its best wishes. Burj Khalifa in Dubai lits up in (Tricolour) to showcase its support,” the Embassy of India in the UAE tweeted along with a video of the Burj Khalifa.

Ambassador of India to the UAE Pavan Kapoor tweeted: “India appreciates the UAE’s strong support to its close friend in difficult times.” As per the current data, India has hit a new record with 3.49 lakh fresh cases on Sunday, taking the caseload to 1.69 crores. Due to the worst situation, the UAE has banned travel from India for 10 days along with several other countries such as the UK, France, Germany, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Oman and Pakistan.
