Covid-19: The Gut-wrenching Stories Of Losing Loved Ones

India is going through the darkest and deepest ordeals that are inconceivably vast. The unimaginable horrific incidents every day is leaving people anxious and disconcerted, even those who are staying at homes. Amid many unfortunate incidents, today’s four tales are outright bloodcurdling and we are left with excruciating pain looking at the pictures.

A woman is seen resuscitating her husband today, who died on her lap. The picture of the woman giving cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to her husband in an autorickshaw is going viral on the internet and leaving everyone teary-eyed. The incident took place in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. The lady has been identified as Renu Singhal and her husband, who was covid-infected was on the verge of collapse. The husband, Ravi Singhal, was gasping for breath and Renu, out of fear, tried to resuscitate him. Tragically, the efforts she made went in vain and Ravi Singhal died on his wife’s lap in the auto. He was declared dead at SN Medical College hospital in the city.

In another incident, a man was captured carrying his father’s pyre on the roof of his Honda car. Amid the shortage of ambulances, the man has decided to tie his father’s body to his car’s roof and drove to a crematorium in Agra’s Mokshadham. The picture truly fills our hearts with sadness and left us in melancholy silence.

Another incident shows one more heartbreaking picture where a son and son-in-law are compelled to take mother’s body on a bike in Srikakulam. The men kept the dead body sitting on a seat, in between them, while weeping and ferrying to a crematorium in Andhra. The incident took place in Mandasa Mandal village in Srikakulam district and the woman died even before her reports came positive.

And, another heart-wrenching incident today took place in Vizag where one and half years old kid dies of covid19 after hospital staff denied admission for emergency treatment. The child was reportedly suffering from severe fever and cough for three days and when she was brought to a local hospital, the management took more than 90 minutes to provide a bed for her. In the meanwhile, the little girl died in the ambulance leaving unimaginable pain to her parents. The lack of beds and delay in admission killed a little girl after she suffered from painful breathlessness. This incident in Vizag moved everyone and the parents condition was a painful sight.

The entire nation is now fighting coronavirus vigorously. Let us not deviate from our responsibilities in regards to our part in the fight of mankind’ against COVID-19.
