A whopping worth of USD100 million Covid19 relief materials will soon be delivered to India by the Big Brother United States, announced the White House. The development comes after the first flight carrying emergency health supplies left from the US to India.
The US Agency for International Development said that the flight took off from the Travis Air Force Base on the world’s largest military aircraft on Wednesday night, which includes 440 oxygen cylinders and regulators, donated by the state of California on a generous gesture.
Apart from this, USAID is also sending 960,000 Rapid Diagnostic Tests which would help in the early identification of infections and help prevent the community spread of COVID-19, and 100,000 N95 masks to protect India’s frontline healthcare workers.
The White House further added that US state governments, private companies, NGOs and locals across the country have organized to send indispensable dwindling resources like oxygen-related equipment and essential supplies to Indian hospitals.
