The coronavirus pandemic forced all the casinos in the very famous Las Vegas, along with all others, though the Mayor did oppose the decision. The virus count took over many reasons to keep them open and finally, the famous casinos had to shut the doors.
Nearly after three months, the Vegas casinos have got the date to reopen giving a breath of sigh to gambling lovers. Las Vegas casinos are set to reopen June 4, as said by Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak.
The number of confirmed cases and hospitalizations did see a drop post relaxations on restrictions two weeks back and June 4 could be the possible date of reopening the casinos. The Governor is expected to give more details about the next phase of reopening, only if the infected cases remain low and dropping through Memorial Day weekend.
The state gambling regulators will look into reopening plans submitted by each casino and the Gaming Control Board needs to sign off on a casino’s blueprint at least before seven days before they allow the guests to enter.
