Players are now flying back home after IPL 2021 has been suspended indefinitely. Meanwhile, former Indian team captain and Chennai Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni is making sure that every one of his teammates flying back home safely, and he will be the last person to leave the camp.
Speaking in an interview with the Indian Express, a member of the CSK team stated that Mahi (bhai) will be the last person to leave the hotel. He wanted the foreigners to leave first and then the Indian players. Apparently, Dhoni will be flying back home later tonight.
CSK is arranging charter flights to fly its players back home. Apparently, Mumbai Indians team management has arranged charter flights to fly its team members to various countries like New Zealand, South Africa, and Caribbean Islands. Overseas players of other teams are also joining MI team members to fly back home on these flights. These air crafts will leave in the next 24-48 hours.
On the flip side, England players flew back to their country the other day. Australian cricketers may fly either to the Maldives or Sri Lanka as the Australian government imposed travellers coming from India till May 15.
