110 Yr Old Recovers From Covid-19 In Hyd

The first and second wave of Covid-19 is mostly showing its severe impact on people above 60 years. Out of the 2.5 lakh Covid deaths in the country, a majority of them hail this age group. Just when we think this is a huge risk, a 110 year old has recovered from the virus and this is reported in Hyderabad.

Identified as Ramananda Theerthulu, he was a retired government officer and later went to the Himalayas for two decades. Before getting infected, Ramananda used to stay in an Aashram in Keesara and a doctor of Gandhi hospital used to take care of food and needs.

On April 24th Ramananda got infected and the same doctor got him admitted in Gandhi with low saturation level. The other day, he tested negative for the virus and his saturation levels were recorded between 92-97.

Ramananda is probably the oldest Covid-19 infected patient in the world to have recovered. However, he will continue to stay in Gandhi for a few more days.
