Andhra Cricketer Gets A Chance To Play For India vs Eng

With the suspension of the Indian Premier League, cricket lovers are highly betting on India’s tour of England. The selection committee has already picked the squad for the Test series. Now, we hear that the selectors included KS Bharath in the camp to cover senior wicket-keeper Wriddhiman Saha. Saha recovered from COVID-19 recently and also tested negative for the virus. But, the selectors are sending KS Bharath to cover him in the series.

Team India will play five test matches with England from August 4th to September 10th. Before that, the team will play the final match of the Test championship with New zealand from June 18th to June 23rd. All the players reached Mumbai currently and are undergoing strict quarantine measures. The team will fly to England on 2nd June in a special charter flight.

It is a very good opportunity for the Andhra cricketer KS Bharath but we have to see if he gets a chance to play in the final eleven. Most likely, Saha would clear the fitness test, as per the sources.

India’s Squad: Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Mayank Agarwal, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli (Captain), Ajinkya Rahane (vice-captain), Hanuma Vihari, Rishabh Pant (wicket-keeper), R. Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Washington Sundar, Jasprit Bumrah, Ishant Sharma, Mohd. Shami, Md. Siraj, Shardul Thakur, Umesh Yadav, KL Rahul (subject to fitness clearance), Wriddhiman Saha (wicket-keeper; subject to fitness clearance)
