Arnold Schwarzenegger, the greatest actor and bodybuilder whom many people look up to is all set to headline his first-ever TV series in an untitled spy project for Netflix. The 73-year-old Mr Schwarzenegger will feature opposite the 30-year-old Monica Barbaro in this new eight-episode drama series.
The show is all about a father and daughter who each learns the other has secretly been working for the CIA, and they team up for an action-packed international adventure. As the relationship is built on a lie, the duo will showcase some power-packed spy drama as partners. This untitled Netflix show is created by Nick Santora. Skydance Television is working with Netflix on the production.
Schwarzenegger, who has a knack for knowing what audiences and his fans want from him, also had a great eye for strong sci-fi scripts early in his career. His iconic on-screen presence, strong personality and persona have always made him stand tall. Terminator, Predator, Conan The Barbarian, Commando, Sabotage are a few of his many super hit films.
Now that he is joining the bandwagon of web series trend, fans are super excited to witness his unparalleled swagger all over again. In a tweet, Schwarzenegger says, “Fans from all over the world have been asking me for a wild ride like this for years, and now they’re finally going to get it because of our great partners at Skydance and Netflix. I am beyond pumped to start work on the show with Nick and Monica and the whole team.”
