The coronavirus cases in India are not showing any significant improvement and in the last 24 hours, 6387 new cases have been reported across the nation. This makes the total number rise to 1,51,767. Also, 170 people have died in the last 24 hours. The majority of new cases were reported from Mumbai with 1044, 237 from MP, 162 from J&K, 267 from UP.
Telangana has reported the biggest daily-spike today with a whopping 108 positive cases of Covid19. And 78 of them are from GHMC. This is the massive spike ever leaving the overall number to 2099. Today, 4 people died of the novel virus and the total death toll is 61. From the past 10 days, the state has been seeing unimaginable growth in cases with daily reporting at least 50.
On this CM KCR urged the public to not worry and warned that there will be more number of cases coming out in the next two to three months. He also assured that his government is all prepared for the worse. KCR also announce that except shopping malls, all other local shops are allowed to open with social distancing guidelines.
In Andhra Pradesh, 68 new covid19 cases have been reported today and the tally reached 2787. The death toll is 58 so far. As we know, the domestic flights have been resumed in the state and more than 158 passengers who landed in AP from Bengaluru has been sent to quarantine to contain the spread of the novel virus.
