In April and May 2.2 crore Indians have lost their jobs. This is mainly attributed to the second wave of Covid-19 and now India’s total employed figures stand at 37.55 crore. As per experts opinion, it would take considerable time for economy to recover and new recruitments.
What about the people who have lost their jobs? How are they dealing with the current situation? Here is an example of a man who lost his job. Yet to be identified, this man is spotted on the roads of Hyderabad and he is seeking donations from people.
‘Humble Request. Lost Job, No Money, Please Donate’ is written on a placard and the man holds this along with two boxes for people to donate money.
This picture of the man is going viral on social media and netizens are wondering how many are in such grave situation.
None can alter the current scenario but can only pray that this time shall pass on quickly.
