Trailer Talk: ‘Betaal’ Is Horrific & Intense

If there is a trailer coming from this Superstar that got instant attention after its release, it is none other than “Betaal” we must say. But the fact is that he is only producing it, but not acting it. Yes folks, we are talking about Shahrukh Khan’s maiden web series production venture, made for Netflix, “Betaal”.

While the concept of this thriller is pretty simple, as they bring a Zombie attack to a rural area, to a hill named Betaal where an army of the dead lives on, it is the execution that made it brilliant. The story deals with an army trying to clear path for the construction of a highway, and a mysterious Betaal hill comes as a hurdle. The way some an 18th century British Army officer as the rulers of Betaal with an army of ghost dead bodies is catchy and intriguing.

Mixed with terrific visual effects and gripping screenplay, Betaal trailer has given goosebumps to thriller lovers. We must say that this is the first-ever, sensible thriller made by Indian production houses for Netflix. Directed by Patric Graham who has earlier made Ghoul for Netflix, this time he has come up with an intense and horrific treat.

The series features Vineet Kumar, Ahana Kumar and Suchitra Pillai in the lead roles.
