Kajal and Gautam : 3 Years Dating, 7 Years Friendship

Kajal Aggarwal’s wedding with businessman Gautam Kitchlu was all over the internet. The pictures and videos from their pre-wedding events to post-wedding reception have taken social media by storm. In an interview with Vogue, Kajal has let the cat out of the bag. She has shared how Gautam and she got along well over the years. Kajal revealed that she had dated Gautam and yet the duo remained thick friends. Kajal and Gautam first met in 2010 through common friends. Apparently, it was a love at first sight as both have liked each other and hit it off immediately.

Kajal admitted that Gautam and she have dated for 3 years initially and maintained their strong friendship for over seven years. “We have progressed in every stage of being friends and been very important in each other’s lives,” Kajal was quoted as saying in the interview. She also said that the duo missed each other so much during lockdown. “During the lockdown, when we didn’t see each other for a few week – at best, we would catch a glimpse behind a mask at a grocery store – we realised that we wanted to be together,” she added.

Kajal’s family is aware of the duo’s relation and finally the couple has decided to take it further by tying the knot on Oct 30 at a star hotel in Mumbai.
