The former IT minister of Telangana KTR is finding himself in the middle of what appears to be a heated legal mess. He is being proved by the ACB in connection with the Formula E case. He is accused of verbally consenting financial transaction amounting to Rs 55 crore against the regulation.
After the ACB started the investigation on this case, which was followed by subsequent measures from the ED KTR approached the Telangana High Court with the petition to quash the case.
The Telangana High Court passed the judgement on this quash petition that was filed by KTR and it does not make for a good hearing for KTR. The court cancelled the petition that was filed by KTR and thus implicated that the investigation agencies can carry on with the investigation without any further apprehension.
Justice K Lakshman of the Telangana High Court on Tuesday dismissed a petition filed by KTR in which he sought to quash the FIR related to the Formula E racing event. KTR had described the FIR as politically motivated, arguing that it was a targeted attempt to malign him.
Now that the Telangana High Court has dismissed the request petition, we can expect the investigation authorities to go really hard with the investigation on KTR. Notably, the ACB had already summoned KTR to appear for investigation on January 9. This will play a crucial role in the way. This investigation shapes up henceforth
