Exclusive: Title Of Chiranjeevi – Anil Ravipudi Film Locked

Megastar Chiranjeevi is currently working on a full-length entertainer directed by Anil Ravipudi. The project, which is aiming for a Sankranthi 2026 release, is produced by Sahu Garapati along with Chiranjeevi’s daughter Sushmita under Shine Screens and Gold Box Entertainments.

For the past few months, updates around this film were delayed due to the overlap with Vishwambhara, another major project from Chiranjeevi. However, with Vishwambhara now looking at a summer 2026 release, the path has cleared for Anil Ravipudi’s film to take center stage for Sankranthi. This also means that consistent updates will roll out starting from a key occassion, Chiranjeevi’s birthday on August 22nd.

Known for picking unusual yet catchy titles for his films, Anil Ravipudi has chosen one that strongly resonates with Chiranjeevi’s legacy. Gulte exclusively learns that the film is titled as “Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu” with a tagline ‘Pandagaki Vasthunnaru‘. Though lengthy, the title carries familiarity since Chiranjeevi’s birth name is Konidela Siva Shankara Vara Prasad. The festive release slot adds to the context, as most of Ravipudi’s films arrive during Sankranthi.

The official title reveal will happen on Friday, August 22nd, coinciding with Chiranjeevi’s 70th birthday. Along with the announcement, the makers are preparing a special glimpse that will give audiences a first feel of the film’s tone and festive flavor.

Interestingly, sources indicate that the glimpse will also carry a surprise element. A senior star, from Chiranjeevi’s own league, is expected to lend his voice to introduce Chiranjeevi’s character in the teaser.
