March offered a lot of promise to the audiences with films like Dhurandhar 2 and Toxic. Because of these biggies, several other movies that were lined up for release this month are postponed.
Interestingly, Yash’s Toxic, which was supposed to hit the screens on March 19th, 2026, is now postponed to June 4, clearing the line for Dhurandhar 2. The Bollywood biggie is the hottest film in the tinsel town, especially after the success of the film’s first part.
Dhurandhar was released amidst a low-key buzz. However, the film’s mass canvas and word of mouth helped the movie gain an appeal from the audience. Now, the second part is already carrying a heavy buzz, resulting in the film’s mass canvas getting a lot of attention along with proper screen allocation.
Toxic has been postponed as the makers wanted to give a pan-world release, and the current situation in the Middle East could affect their revenue streams. As a result, they pushed the film’s release to June. As a result, Dhurandhar 2 gets an open ground from everyone. Coming to the Gulf countries, Dhurandhar 2 was already banned there, paving the way for the film’s big release across all other regions.
On the other hand, Pawan Kalyan’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh is gearing up for a grand release on the 26th of March. Earlier, Dil Raju acquired the rights of Toxic, with the intention of giving it a big release. Now that Toxic is postponed, Ustaad will have a big release in terms of the number of screens, irrespective of the talk.
Whatever it may be, the postponement of Toxic is unexpected but will benefit a couple of other biggies.
