Superstar Mahesh Babu’s birthday is just around the corner, and fans are eagerly waiting for a surprise from his highly anticipated film Varanasi with director S.S. Rajamouli, which is currently on the floors and is nearing completion.

While the makers are maintaining complete secrecy around the project, we at Gulte have exclusively learned that only a couple of brand-new stills featuring Mahesh Babu will be released on August 9 to mark his birthday.

Interestingly, the team followed a similar strategy on Priyanka Chopra’s birthday last month. The makers unveiled fresh stills introducing her character, Mandakini, which received a tremendous response from fans across social media.

Releasing exclusive new photographs of Mahesh from the film would be enough to send fans into a frenzy, considering the massive anticipation surrounding the project.

But sadly, the lack of any teaser will also hurt the fans in a big way, as it has been a long time since they have seen Mahesh visually. The globe-trotting action adventure also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran in a key role.

Varanasi is said to be one of the biggest Indian productions ever mounted and has already completed a major portion of its shoot and will hit the screens on April 7, 2027. Well, one needs to see how Rajamouli will showcase Mahesh in his brand new avatar.
