Trivikram’s Writing Hits Another Low With AK47

Victory Venkatesh and Trivikram Srinivas’ AK47 is an iconic combination, but then it fizzled out at the box office. The numbers are nowhere near the combination hype or the break-even it should achieve.

What is more disappointing is the decline in Trivikram’s writing, and AK47 is undoubtedly his weakest work so far.

If we closely observe, there is an attempt to mimic Anil Ravipudi’s comedy style in the film.

But then, it is not expected from Trivikram. There are many issues in the film, but if we see some.

If we see Nivetha Pethuraj’s thread, it is disgusting how a Senior Writer writes a track of a Senior Hero ogling over a girl in his neighbourhood wearing skimpy clothes.

If we remove the track from the film, it will make no difference to the film. But it will restore some respect to Trivikram. Surprise how they missed it!

There are two-three instances where Satya is seen joking over his own colour. In 2026, if a Senior writer had to color-shame someone in the name of comedy, it is absolutely pathetic.

And then, there is this judge track towards the end which is beyond anyone’s comprehension.

Anil Ravipudi brings up something nice or a message towards the end to make his movie more meaningful. The track clearly appears like it is attached without a proper head and tail. Trivikram did the same with the Judge track in the film.

There was also a PR campaign saying that it is a tribute to Judge Frank Caprio. But the Nasser track is absolute cringe and does not live up to the level of Trivikram’s caliber.

Many thought Guntur kaaram was Trivikram’s weakest work so far, but after watching AK47, Gunturkaaram seems a better film and that is the low about Trivikram.

After watching these issues riddled film and writing, NTR fans will be definitely worried about ‘God Of War’.
