Tollywood is currently enjoying a golden phase. Despite the pandemic, the film industry is occupied with a bunch of projects. The actors and technicians are having their hands as well as pockets full. Almost all the star heroes are busy with shoots. Interestingly, the netizens are discussing the domination of Mahesh Babu on the list of the most popular male stars released by Ormax Media.

Earlier today, the Mumbai-based popular media agency released the list of popular male actors in Telugu. Despite having a pan-India film to his career, Mahesh dominated the other stars in the film industry.

Allu Arjun grabbed the second spot while Pawan Kalyan settled in third place. Prabhas, Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Vijay Deverakonda, Nani, Chiranjeevi, and Ravi Teja are also on the top ten list.

Mahesh Babu’s fans and Allu Arjun’s fans are extremely happy that their favorite actors occupied the first two places. According to the fans, both the stars exchanged their positions this time. In the list that the company released last year, Allu Arjun occupied first place while Mahesh grabbed second place.

Almost all the actors on the top ten list are currently busy with shoots. Many of them are doing pan-India projects. What’s more surprising is Megastar Chiranjeevi occupying the ninth position. Among the four senior heroes (Chiru, Balakrishna, Venkatesh, and Nagarjuna), only Chiranjeevi managed to get a place in the list. It is raising the doubts about the credibility of the tracking procedure. The media firm also tracks the popularity of Kollywood and Hollywood stars.

When we look at the previous lists released by the organization, Mahesh and Allu Arjun are always on the top despite any new releases. But, there is a huge change in the positions of other actors. Victory Venkatesh who was a part of the previous lists has no place in the current list.

Even if we do not consider the aspect of new releases, all the actors including Megastar Chiranjeevi is constantly in the news for his charity work or the new projects. The other actors like Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Vijay Deverakonda too occupied the limelight. RRR is one of the much-talked-about pan-India films. Both the leads from the film are always trending but they failed to grab the top spot. Vijay Deverakonda who is making his debut soon in Bollywood is a social media star too!

Megastar Chiranjeevi is the undisputed king of Tollywood and it goes without saying. Mahesh Babu’s fans say that the latest data has been released by taking the six months of 2021 into account. Only Pawan Kalyan (Vakeel Saab) and Ravi Teja (Krack) met the audiences with new releases this year. Both the films became hits but they are not in the top spots.

The ups and downs in the positions of multiple actors over a period of time are certainly creating confusion on the deciding factor for being the most popular in Telugu.

At the end of the day, the latest data looks like another new reason for the fans engaging in fan wars.
