Sai Pallavi Receives ‘Sita Maa Ki Jai’ Chants

Ramayana: Rise of a Legend is an upcoming mythological drama set for a grand Diwali release. The film, however, was screened at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures’ David Geffen Theatre in Los Angeles. The cast and crew attended the screening as part of the film’s promotion. Everyone was surprised by the roaring response to Sai Pallavi’s presence.

Sai Pallavi has already debuted in Bollywood and doesn’t need a special introduction to the Hindi audience. However, when she was cast as Sita Devi in the film, she faced unnecessary criticism. Even when the glimpses were released, Sai Pallavi’s look drew criticism.

Later, when the teaser and trailer came out, a lot of people criticized Sai Pallavi as a miscast. On social media, some of the netizens even pointed out that the background artists looked better than Sai Pallavi. But today, after the film’s screening, things seem to have changed.

When Sai Pallavi walked onto the stage right after the screening in Los Angeles, the crowd began chanting ‘Sita Maa Ki Jai ‘, and it itself is a testimony that Sai Pallavi’s talent speaks volumes more than anything else. In fact, Sai Pallavi got a bigger cheer than what Ranbir received at the event. Sai Pallavi is considered the Lady Powerstar in the Telugu film industry, and her success is not matched by anyone in the South.

The positive reception at the special screening could be the start of what Sai Pallavi can create in Bollywood. In the coming days, Bollywood audiences will get a chance to witness the real talent of the actress behind her stardom, and we wish that she receives all the love, support, and respect.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana’s first part gears up for a release on November 5th.
