Shakeela announces her own OTT platform

The advent of OTT platforms has completely changed the scenario of the Indian film industry. Nowadays, we are seeing many streaming platforms coming with various content. Actress Shakeela is also set to launch her own OTT platform named KR Digital Plex.

Shakeela unveiled the first look posters of the films Utter Flop and Romantic the other day in Ramanaidu Studios. Her daughter Mila is playing the female lead in both the movies. Ramesh Kavali has directed these flicks.

“I liked the stories narrated by Ramesh. We are making these films with new actors. My daughter Mila is playing the heroine role in both these movies. We are shooting in some of the exotic locations of Goa,” said Shakeela while speaking at the event.

“We had faced a lot of troubles during the censor process of our previous film ‘Ladies Not Allowed’.To prevent such obstacles, we now have decided to launch our own OTT platform which will be a stage for many newcomers,” she further added.

Directed Ramesh Kavali said, “This is just the beginning and we will come up with many projects in the future. With Shakeela (sister)’s support, we are launching KR Digital Plex.”

“We are planning to support aspiring actors and directors by releasing their short films and feature films for free on this platform,” he added.
