The second wave of the pandemic has suspended cinema shootings and filmmakers, who were planning to release their movies in Summer 2021 had a substantial and upsetting impact. Among many halted films, Sekhar Kammula’s ‘Love Story’ was also supposed to release in April.
Now that the theatres have reopened across the state from yesterday, the team of Love Story is planning to release the film on September 10th. The makers have rejected several OTT offers in the meanwhile and the official announcement on the release date in September will soon be out.
As millions quarantined, viewers were forced to stay home for their video entertainment. Fans, who were expecting the film to get released on OTT at last, now comes as a surprise as Love Story will only release in Theatres and tentatively on the 10th of Sept’.
Starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles, fans have pinned high expectations from the filmmaker and cast. Sekhar Kammula is also looking forward to collaborating with Dhanush for a Pan India film, produced by the same producers.
