BJP and VHP File Case On Ippudu Kaaka Inkeppudu

Upcoming Telugu release Ippudu Kaaka Inkeppudu has fallen into legal trouble as Hindu religious group VHP and political party BJP have filed a complaint on the makers in Vanasthalipuram Police Station.

The groups have complained that the trailer of the film featured scenes that are objectionable for Hinduism. One of the sequences featured the lead actors kissing while the ‘Bhaja Govindham’ song is playing in the background. It was also alleged that the makers demeaned Lord Krishna and Tulsi Mata in the film. They have given a written complaint to the cops and the latter have registered it as a suo moto case.

Speaking about the same, the film’s director Yugandhar said that a mistake happened while releasing the trailer. The Bhaja Govindham song was placed on romantic scenes but the placement of it will be different in the movie. He stated that he hasn’t checked the trailer properly before the release and apologized for the same. The director ensured that he would be eliminating those objectionable scenes.

Starring Hasvanth Vanga, Namrata Darekar, and Katalyn Gowda in the lead roles, Ippudu Kaaka Inkeppudu slated for a theatrical release on August 6.
