Popualar Bollywood actor joins the cast of Shaakuntalam

Director Gunasekhar is currently busy with the shooting works of his upcoming project Shaakuntalam. This mythological epic features Samantha Akkineni in the role of Shakuntala and Malayalam actor Dev Mohan is essaying the character of Dushyanta. Now, yet another prominent actor has joined the star cast.

Noted Bollywood actor Kabir Bedi will be playing a pivotal role in the movie. He has already signed the film and started working for it.

Meanwhile, Kabir Bedi gifted a copy of his autobiography ‘Stories I Must Tell’ to the daughter of Gunasekhar and producer of the film, Neelima Guna. He penned a note saying, “Dear Neelima, Thank you for including me in your production of ‘Shaakuntalam.’ Wishing you all success.”

Neelima shared a couple of pictures of the book on Twitter and wrote, “Thank you so much @iKabirBedi Sir, such a privilege to work with you. Can’t wait to read this. #StoriesIMustTell #KabirBediSir #Shaakuntalam.”

Kabir Bedi was earlier seen in Telugu movies like Gautami Putra Shatakarni and Paisa Vasool.
