The biopic of Tiger Nageswara Rao, a notorious thief of Stuartpuram in the 70s was in news for years now. Initially the names of Venkatesh, Rana Daggubati and Satya Dev came out pushing all the names aside, young hero Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas signed the project.
The film is titled ‘Stuartpuram Donga’ and the announcement arrived with a poster. The coal run train exhausting thick smoke is seen in the poster and ‘Biopic of Tiger’ is written below the title.
The film will be directed by KS while the hero’s father and producer Bellamkonda Suresh will be producing it under Sree Lakshmi Narasimha Productions banner.
Technicians like Mani Sharma for music, Shyam K Naidu for cinematography and AS Prakash for production design were signed up.
‘Stuartpuram Donga’ is a period drama and will be made on a grand scale. The poster confirms the shooting will commence soon.
