It’s A Wrap! That Was Quick From Samantha

Actress Samantha Akkineni has wrapped up her portion of shooting for ‘Shaakuntalam.’ Post wrapping up the shooting, the team of ‘Shaakuntalam’ hosted a small farewell for Sam on this occasion.

Producer Neelima Guna has thanked Samantha for being an absolute delight to work. “Thank you @Samanthaprabhu2 so happy to have worked with you you’re a complete woman with amazing talent and grit, fun & fabulous…it has been an absolute pleasure to see you become our “Shakuntala” tq for all your hard work, belief & love for this role. #Shaakuntalam,” tweeted Neelima.

‘Shaakuntalam’ started its shooting in mid-March and in four months Sam is done with her work. There was a break in between due to the lockdown but that was quick from Sam. This is her first pan-India film and Sam has pinned huge hopes on it.

Recently Allu Arha who is marking her debut in films, finished her portion too. This is surprising from director Gunasekhar as he generally takes a lot of time for shooting and now he is racing against time.

‘Shaakuntalam’ is based on true events and period drama with a historical love saga.
