Tollywood star Samantha Akkineni is playing a crucial role in an upcoming Kollywood film ‘Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal’ starring Vijay Sethupathi. Nayanthara is playing the leading lady.
This is the first time that she is working with Nayanthara and is pretty excited about the same. Samantha recently wrapped up the shoot of Shakuntalam, under Gunasekhar’s direction and immediately moved to Pondicherry for the shoot of this film.
Currently, the final leg of the shooting and the actress is going on in Pondicherry. The current schedule is expected to take place for the next 15 days.
Vignesh Shivn is bankrolling this project in association with Nayanthara and Vinit Kumar. Anirudh Ravichander is composing tunes for the film and the makers are yet to unveil the release date of the film.
Samantha pinned big hopes on this film and it will be dubbed to Telugu. The complete details of the film will be out soon.
