Sometimes, one film is enough for few heroines to steal the show and that first film would catapult them into a big league of their own. The likes of Samantha, Rashmika Mandanna and Trisha have shot to fame with their first film itself, and since then they never looked back. And now, Uppena girl Kriti Shetty is also signing plenty of films post her debut film’s success.
We hear that another Kannada hottie who followed the path of Rashmika and Kriti to the Telugu industry is now getting similar attention, even before the release of her first film. Her name is Sreeleela, the beautiful Bangalore girl who is debuting in Telugu with a rehashed version of K Raghavendra Rao’s yesteryear hit Pelli Sandadi. She has done a couple of Kannada movies and amassed a good fanbase.
While the song promos of the film that were released so far have generated not much hype for the film, it looks like Sree Leela garnered all the attention. Whether her mass dances in Bujjulu Bujjulu song or her sensuous expressions in Premante Idhe song, she is getting attention and some producers have already rushed to her for dates, to feature opposite some of the young heroes. However, all this hype stands up only when the film turns a hit or if her acting is quite impressive no matter how the film is.
Titled PelliSandaD, KRR’s protege Gowri Ronanki is directing this new-age movie, a spin-off of vintage superhit Pellisandadi, which has Srikanth’s son Rohan as the hero, while Deepthi Bhatnagar and Srikanth himself are appearing as his parents.
