Finally. The suspense on the release date of Sandalwood star Yash’s keenly awaited pan-India period action drama, KGF Chapter 2, has ended. But the wait is going to be longer than expected. Yash took to his Twitter this afternoon and announced that the film will be releasing on April 14, 2022.
“The uncertainties of today will only delay our resolve, but the eventuality is as promised.We will be out in theaters on april 14th 2022,” the actor tweeted. On the other hand, the film’s director Prashanth Neel released a striking poster that reveals all the lead actors to announce the release date.
Needless to say, Yash and KGF fans, who are disappointed with this long delay in the film’s release, are finally happy to at least get some clarity on the release plans straight from the horse’s mouth. With KGF 2 occupying the Ugadi and summer berth, it will be interesting to see what the makers of RRR and other pan-India and Bollywood biggies will come up with.
Also starring Bollywood stars Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon, Sandalwood beauty Srinidhi Shetty, Prakash Raj and Rao Ramesh in key roles, this Prashanth Neel directorial is produced by Vijay Kiragandur under Hombale Films banner. Following the humongous response to KGF Chapter 1’s audio album, Ravi Basrur’s soundtrack for the sequel is being eagerly awaited by fans.
