‘Kanchana 3’ actress found dead in Goa

Russian model and actress Alexandra Djavi, who acted in Raghava Lawrence’s third instalment of ‘Kanchana’ was found dead in her rented apartment in Goa. She was one of the four heroines of the horror comedy film that was released in 2019.

According to the Goa Police, Alexandra was found hanging in a room with the door latched from inside and the cops suspect this might be suicide and the incident was reported on Friday. Being a Russian citizen, the cops have written to the Russian Embassy to seek their permission to process medico-legal formalities.

Simultaneously the police are waiting for Alexandra’s family members consent for conducting the post-mortem and this could be crucial to estimate her mysterious death. As of now the Police have neither any information on the cause of death nor have they detained any suspects.

After ‘Kanchana’ Alexandra made it to the headlines for lodging a case against a photographer who harassed her and demanded sexual favours. This case dates back to the same year of Kanchana’s release. The police might dig details of the photographer and may probe the case in this angle.
