​Karthi’s Long-delayed Film Releasing In Telugu After 7 Years

Released in 2014, Karthi starrer ‘Madras’ is one of the super hit films in the Tamil industry. Touted to be a political action drama, Catherine Teresa played the female lead in the movie. Kabali and Kaala fame Pa Ranjith directed the film.

Directed by Pa Ranjith, the film marked his second directorial venture. After his debut with the ‘Attakathi’, ‘Madras’ became a blockbuster and Pa Ranjith shot to fame with the film. The success of this film landed him a chance to direct Superstar Rajinikanth twice.

In fact, the Telugu dubbed version of the film with the same title (Madras) was supposed to get released in 2014 itself. But due to the reasons best known to them, the makers have canceled the film.

But after 7 long years, the Telugu dubbed version of ‘Madras’ is all set to get a theatrical release very soon. The makers have also unveiled the first look poster of the film revealing that film will hit the theatres in September 2021.

The makers are yet to announce the official release date of the film. Bankrolled by Dream Factory, Studio Green, and Kalasangam Films, Santhosh Narayanan composed tunes for this film.
