Breaking: MAA Elections On Oct 10th

Finally the suspense surrounding the Movie Artists Association (MAA) elections has ended with the date being announced. On October 10th, MAA elections will be held and this announcement comes days after the Disciplinary and Reconciliation Committee meeting held on Sunday chaired by UV Krishnam Raju.

A Press Note regarding the MAA elections was released to the media a short while ago.

In the last meeting, MAA members urged the Disciplinary and Reconciliation Committee to take a call on the elections at the earliest. Versatile actor Prakash Raj who is in the poll foray argued that the election process would take two weeks and the committee needs to decide upon the dates.

One of the founding members of MAA, Murali Mohan replied they are considering either September second week or October. Ending the suspense, the elections are scheduled on October 10th.

Prakash Raj, hero Vishnu Manchu, Hema, Jeevitha Rajasekhar and current MAA President Naresh are contesting the polls.

Mega compound is supporting actor Prakash Raj and he has already introduced his panel to the media. Vishnu, Hema, Jeevitha and Naresh are yet to disclose their panel members.
