We are already aware that Megastar Chiranjeevi teamed up with Tamil director Mohana Raja for the Telugu remake of the Malayalam film Lucifer. Titled Godfather, the regular shooting of this movie will begin soon. The film will have a huge star cast just like the original.
According to the sources, Malayalam actor Biju Menon has been signed up to play a negative role in this movie. He will reprise the role of Vivek Oberoi from the original version.
Biju is a popular actor in the Malayalam film industry. His recent super hit film Ayyappanum Koshiyum is being remade into Telugu as Bheemla Nayak. Pawan Kalyan is reprising Biju’s role in the remake.
Meanwhile, it is heard that Bollywood actor Salman Khan will play an extended cameo in Godfather. Prithviraj Sukumaran played this role in Lucifer. Godfather will hit the screens early next year. More details of it will be announced soon.
