Tuck Jagadish On Sept 10 – Nani Gives A Shocker

Well, for all the fiasco that happened around the decision of releasing “Tuck Jagadish” on Amazon Prime Video, many thought that it’s regarding the release date. And some consultations are also made between producers to alternate the release dates of Naga Chaitanya’s Love Story, Nani’s Tuck Jagadish and Nithin’s Maestro. But here’s the shocker.

Taking to his social media page, Nani along with Amazon Prime Video has announced that Tuck Jagadish will be hitting the OTT platform on Sept 10th on the eve of Vinayaka Chavithi only. That’s the date actually Chay’s Love Story locked for a theatrical release while Nithin’s Maestro also eyed on the same date for an OTT release. While it was widely believed that makers of Tuck Jagdish were requested by everyone to postpone the release date, one wonders what has happened.

Few sources are saying that Amazon hasn’t paid heed to Nani and his producers’ request to postpone the release date of Tuck Jagadish. Some are saying that even the producers are not interested to do that, because that will create trust issues for other heroes who are working on their next projects. Now that Nani’s Tuck Jagadish is pitched for a direct battle with Love Story we have to see how distributors and exhibitors react to this. But released 2-3 big films for festivals is a common thing in Tollywood and there is nothing to worry about.

Tuck Jagadish, a village-based family drama, is directed by Siva Nirvana who has debuted as a director with Nani’s Ninnu Kori movie.
