It is not uncommon for customs authorities to catch the folks smuggling gold and money while entering the country. While we have seen many such incidents where the smugglers get caught with their strange and innovative ideas to smuggle, but here is one from the next level.
The idea these new smugglers implement to smuggle the gold to India is that a smuggler made the gold into a thin layer and painted it on the inside of his pants.
Kannur air intelligence department officials arrested a man in Kerala airport after the latter got caught trying to smuggle 302 grams of gold that is worth 14 lakh rupees. He melted the gold and made it like a paint paste and applied it to the inside of his pants.
This shocking idea to smuggle the gold has gone viral on social media.
The smugglers resorting to strange techniques in smuggling is not new. Recently, a man from Sharjah to Amritsar tried to smuggle 1894 grams of gold worth Rs 78 lakh rupees in his inners and got arrested.
