As theatres have been shut down, all the eyes of filmmakers are on theatres now. Beginning with Pongamal Vandhal, many films are going to hit the digital platform sans theatrical release. As per the latest buzz, another two big films are going to release on OTT and the dates have been confirmed.
Sufiyum Sujatayum, a Malayalam movie which has Aditi Rao Hydari and Jaya Surya in lead roles. As per the latest update, the film is going to stream on Amazon Prime Video from July 2nd. The film is written and directed by Naranipuzha Shanavas and produced by Vijay Babu under his banner Friday Film House.
Another film which is going to hit the digital platform is Shakuntala Devi. This Bollywood film has Vidya Balan as the leading lady. She will be seen playing Shakuntala Devi, a mathematics wizard in this biopic. This film will also release on Amazon Prime on July 31st.
All those who have been waiting for theatres to reopen, can take a break and watch these films on digital platforms as theatres will be closed for a few more months from, undoubtedly. A couple of Telugu films will also be releasing on OTTs soon.
