The 2010 political drama Leader is still considered as one of the intelligent and whiff of fresh breeze in Telugu cinemas. While on the one hand, Rana made his debut with a peaceful and strong character, on the other hand, director Sekhar Kammula really had the story and the guts to pull off such a film with an incredible style.
And the good news is, Sekhar is now planning for ‘Leader 2’ with Rana and would soon create magic on big screens again. The engrossing political drama is an all-time favourite to Telugu audience and we are sure many hearts will sing with joy hearing the news of its sequel.
The modern world has directors with the mentality of a hundred-mile-an-hour, treating viewers to be at full throttle all the time. But Sekhar usually works at a far slower pace before returning triumphantly to screens.
Sekhar’s next film Love Story is set to release on Sept 24, 2021, and he is expected to commence Leader 2 somewhere around next year. And also, Rana is busy with Virata Parvam and Bheemla Nayak this year.
