Love Story sets USA box office on fire

USA box office is one of the major revenue-generating markets for Telugu cinema. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, most of the big Telugu films used to collect millions of dollars in the overseas market. But the pandemic changed the entire business dynamics of Tollywood in the USA.

After the pandemic, the theatres in the USA are running with limited capacities. Thus, films that had a theatrical release over there are not being able to collect good enough. Only Jathi Ratnalu managed to do well at the US box office after the pandemic.

Now, Shekhar Kammula’s Love Story is giving hope for producers by getting excellent pre-sales ahead of its release.

According to the latest reports, Love Story’s pre-sales grossed $150k as of now. The sales are extremely good in many regions like Texas ($27,475), California ($16,447), New Jersey ($10,161) and Virginia ($9,572).

Shekhar has a huge fan base in the overseas market. Moreover, the film’s music and trailer got a terrific response from the viewers and increased anticipation of it.

Starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles, Love Story is all set for a grand release tomorrow. The premieres will be held tonight in the USA. The makers are expecting huge numbers from the premieres, considering the pre-sale trends.
