Tollywood vs Andhra Pradesh government is a trending topic in the film and political circles currently. Andhra Pradesh government became serious after the controversial speech of Pawan Kalyan at the pre-release event of the film Republic. The other day, AP minister Perni Nani met Tollywood producers to discuss the issues of the film industry. Today, the same producers met Pawan Kalyan.
Dil Raju, Vamshi Reddy (UV Creations), Naveen Yerneni (Mythri Movie Makers), Danayya (DVV Entertainments), Bunny Vas (Geetha Arts), and Sunil Narang met Pawan Kalyan at the actor’s residence. The press statement reveals that the producers met the actor to discuss the issues of the film industry in a positive and friendly environment.
In the presence of the same producers, minister Perni Nani mentioned that the producers told him that they don’t have any connection with the comments made by Pawan Kalyan at the pre-release event.
In this scenario, the latest meeting of the producers with Pawan Kalyan carries great significance.
The Telugu Film Producers Council earlier issued a press statement mentioning that the opinions of individuals do not represent the film industry as a whole. It indirectly conveys that the producers are not happy with Pawan’s comments.
The media reports state that the producers tried to make a pact with Pawan Kalyan to send a message to the fans that all is well between the film industry and Pawan Kalyan
