MAA Elections: Bandla Ganesh withdraws his nomination!

Blockbuster producer Bandla Ganesh caught everyone’s attention by announcing his entry in the Movie Artists Association (MAA) elections. Bandla Ganesh expressed his interest to contest for the General Secretary position in the association. Much to the shock of everyone, Ganesh decided to withdraw his participation in the elections.

A while ago, Bandla Ganesh wrote a letter to the Elections Officer of the association that he is withdrawing his nomination for the post of General Secretary. “You are hence requested to treat my Nomination as canceled as I am no longer interested in contesting the elections. Inconvenience caused is regretted,” he mentioned in the letter.

“As per the suggestion of my well-wishers, I am withdrawing my nomination for the General Secretary post,” said Bandla Ganesh on Twitter. He will extend his support to Prakash Raj’s panel.

Earlier, he expressed huge hopes about winning the general secretary post. In many interviews, he said that he will get a big majority.

Initially, Bandla Ganesh was a part of Prakash Raj’s team but he did not get any post in the panel. Ganesh parted ways with Prakash Raj and announced his candidature as an independent candidate.

MAA Elections will take place on October 10th, 2021 at the Jubilee Hills Public School in Hyderabad.
