In an unexpected announcement, the producers of Icon Star Allu Arjun’s upcoming movie ‘Pushpa’ have confirmed the release date on December 17th. Initially the makers locked the Christmas release but did not announce the date and so many thought ‘Pushpa’ would arrive at the box office on December 25th.
But the team of ‘Pushpa’ has advanced the release by a week and this appears to be a strategic move considering many pan-India releases in the coming weeks. This means ‘Pushpa’ has nearly four weeks time until the next biggie arrives and so the collections of the film will have no impact.
“This December, Theatres will go Wild with the arrival of #PushpaRaj. #PushpaTheRise will hit the Big Screens on DEC 17th,” tweeted the official handle of Pushpa movie.
‘Pushpa’ is based on red sanders smuggling and has the likes of Fahadh Faasil, Dhananjaya and Rashmika in key roles.
It’s a Sukumar directorial.
