Natyam is an upcoming classical-dance based movie that introduces the renowned Kuchipudi dancer Sandhya Raju to the Telugu dancer. The film directed by Revanth Korukonda is slated for release on October 22nd. The film’s theatrical trailer is out now.
Natyam trailer begins with Sandhya Raju eloping with her boyfriend played by Rohit Behal. Kamal Kamaraju appears as her dance partner. Though her father encourages her choice of becoming a great dancer, he opposes her to perform Kadambari story. “We didn’t choose Kadambari story, that story choose us. We can’t leave it in the middle. Kadambari is trying to narrate her story through us,” says she.
The story seems to be set in two different timelines and Sandhya Raju is seen performing classical as well as contemporary dance forms. She spellbinds with her facial expressions. She indeed steals the show with her acting prowess.
The trailer also shows other important cast. Cinematography by director Revanth himself and BGM by Shravan Bhardwaj complement each other. Going by the trailer, Natyam is an awe-inspiring tale of a great dancer. The trailer increases interest on the film.
